Nanette's Corner

We have updated our Marketing and Advertisement folder title to be more ‘in the times.’ The title of this VSPN folder will now be “Marketing and Social Media.”
Marketing encompasses many aspects in each of our veterinary practices. Whether it is external or internal marketing, let this be your forum to discuss your ideas or challenges you face.
Social Media is a worldwide means of letting others know about you, be it personally or professionally. Since VSPN is a professional community we've added Social Media to this folder so we can better communicate its uses.

CE Practice Sessions
If you are taking online CE with VIN or VSPN – be aware that we have revised our practice sessions to set days and times and these will become effective in June. If your next course opens June 1, 2012 or later, you’ll see those changes in coming emails. Let us know how this works for you!

ANIMALicious
NEW RELEASE:
ANIMALicious: A New Client Education Resource is the VIN Community's newest client education effort and facilitates the notion that communication between veterinarians and clients is not only okay, it is essential
.
ANIMALicious' mission is to support you and all colleagues by helping clients understand behind-the-exam room issues. Written by magical leprechauns (also known as VIN Community veterinarians and staff), ANIMALicious encourages and accepts moderated comments from veterinarians and pet owners alike.
ANIMALicious takes Veterinary Partner one step further by tackling broader issues in a humorous but sometimes poignant manner.
The site has opened with just a few articles; one or two will be added weekly. The first articles are:

  • Waiting is the Hardest Part - on the Pet
  • How one Veterinarian Answers the No. 1 Question
  • Dog Owner's Guide to Peaceful Co-existence with Livestock
  • Muzzling Debate: What's the Problem with Keeping Pets and People Safer at the Vet's?

Let us know what you think, suggest topics or submit an article for consideration by posting a comment on the site or emailing ANIMALicious@vin.com.
